After 35 years of professional experience. Dealing with complex engineering systems of ships and submarines. Being self contained units these are like a city encompassing almost every aspect of engineering/technology. The professional development started with learning to operate, maintain & overhaul ships & submarines. This led to design, build and management of large projects towards the latter half of career. Throughout the service, professional development, strong inter personnel network, extensive travel was a part of the appointments. 1962-63 Basic Naval orientation training. Rank Cadet 1963-66 B.Sc. (Mechanical) Engineering degree from NED University. Rank Midshipman 1966-67 At sea 1967-68 One year Marine Engineering Specialization with Navy involving study of shipboard machinery and equipment Rank Sub Lieutenant 1969-70 One Year course/attachments with Royal Corps of Naval Constructors at UK. This involved study of steel structures, drawing techniques and modernization of ships. Rank Lieutenant 1970-72 Masters and Diploma in Naval Architecture from London University followed by attachment with shipbuilding yards and research establishments.

Has ex¬tensive experience in clientele services, execution of projects contract, contract adminis¬tration, liaison between clients and execution agencies, etc. Responsibilities in the office embrace preparation of technical and financial proposals for new works, negotiation of consultancy agreement, liaison with client, management of design teams, preparation of project reports and tender documents and project management in general.
